There is a geo-textile underlay that secures to the underside of the sandpit to prevent weeds from growing up through the sand and to allow rain to drain away. Sourced separately and would ship separately, you have the option to source a separate rain cover which is a drawstring cover at a slightly larger size but with the drawstring, it will protect from inclement weather and little creatures!
