For the last 18 years Sang Lee [owner] worked with 5.10, Sang Lee owned the production facility and took care of all R&D and production for 5.10 

Unparallel shoes was started by Sang Lee in 2017. Sang Lee is close friends with the founder of Five Ten, Lee handled development and production of Five Ten rock-climbing and bike shoes up until Adidas closed the Five Ten Redlands outlet in 2017 and ceased partnership with Lee’s Fullerton-based factory. 
After parting ways with Five Ten, Lee started UP and brought along former employees for production in California and for new a UP gym in Redlands where Five Ten headquarters were.

About the Shoes

At high levels, downhill mountain biking is one long controlled crash. Have no fear — the Dust Up has you covered. Constructed of breathable synthetic TPU leather, your feet will feel energized all day long and the patented “virtually damping” rubber sole will absorb energy and vibration during your ride. With the lacing and velcro-combined system, you’ll get exceptional performance and confidence, even on the most demanding trails. Available in three two-tone colors: Black/Black, Grey/Grey and Grey/Turquoise.

Description
The Dust Up low cut is a flat pedal shoe designed for all terrain use.  Constructed with a dual compound outsole using higher durometer RH compound for the outer perimeter and softer, vibration absorbing VD compound for the center tread.

Using an EVA midsole, this shoe excels with all day comfort for epic rides and long downhill shuttles.  Instep Velcro strap keeps laces tucked in and tangle free.  Perforated tongue for ventilation and breathability.

Failed Shortly After Purchase and Required Too Much Effort to Resolve
This product was purchased as a holiday gift for my spouse. Out of the box the product made a load mechanical noise (similar to a baseball card in bicycle spokes) – but it produced a nice heated frothed milk. Less than 3 months after first using the frother, it completely stopped frothing. The heating unit continued to work but the spinning disk did not move. I contacted the seller and within 48 hours they requested a video of proof that the frother was no longer working. I provided the requested video 6 hours after receipt of seller's request. Since then, I have not received any communications, and my follow up emails receive NO RESPONSE. Amazon should consider pulling this product and seller from their website. UPDATE: After multiple follow-up contacts over a month's time, manufacturer eventually issued a full refund.

Great frother. Nice capacity for a lot of foam. I've had it for a couple months. Just wanted to mention that the quality of milk matters. For example, I shop at Aldi and I get their oat milk. It doesn't froth as good as a higher quality name brand oat milk. Lower quality almond milk won't hardly froth at all. Get a high quality almond milk. Whole milk and 2% does great. I love the fact that I can warm my milk in case I want a hot matcha latte which I have often or golden milk. I also want to mention that I also use flavored creamer which makes a nice foam. Cold or hot This machine is a space saver. Easy to use. Easy to clean. You get two frothing elements which can be cleverly hidden under the frother when not in use. I use this almost every day. I really recommend this frother. It's a game changer
