The Appsys ProAudio DDB-SRC1 combines a Flexiverter FLX-DANTE/SRC with an AUX-DANTE card to provide a powerful solution for Dante network bridging. Featuring dual, independent Dante modules for true network isolation, it facilitates 64x64 channel bidirectional audio routing between the networks. The integrated, bidirectional Sample Rate Converter (SRC) ensures matched audio transfer between networks with differing master clocks and sample rates (44.1 to 192 kHz).
The Appsys ProAudio Flexiverter FLX-DANTE/SRC is a versatile and compact Dante-to-anything digital audio converter. It features a built-in Dante network interface, a high-end 64x64 Sample Rate Converter (SRC), and an additional AUX card slot for expanded connectivity. With the ability to convert 64x64 channels of Dante to any protocol installed in the AUX slot, it offers exceptional flexibility for professional audio workflows.
For larger systems, both the FLX-DANTE/SRC's built-in channels and those provided by the AUX card can be accessed via the FlexLink port, allowing seamless integration with the MVR-mkII Multiverter or other Flexiverter units for scalable, high-performance audio networking.
- Dante-to-anything: convert between the built-in Dante and the AUX card installed in the slot With AUX-DANTE card FLX-DANTE/SRC acts as Dante-to-Dante bridge.
- This enables two different Dante networks to be kept physically separate, including separate IP address configurations, clock domains, and more, while audio is passed bidirectional between them.
- Connect FLX-DANTE/SRC to another Flexiverter via FlexLink for more channels (i.e. Dante with 64 channels at 96 kHz)
- Connect FLX-DANTE/SRC to the Multiverter via FlexLink. This provides remote control, channel-wise routing, and more.
- Two Dante ports on etherCON connectors
- AUX port accepting any of the AUX Cards as conversion source/destination
- 64x64-channel, bidirectional Sample Rate Converter with high-end specifications (>120 dB THD+N, >134 dB DNR)—can be bypassed when desired
- Supports sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz on either side—can convert 96 kHz MADI to 48 kHz Dante with 64 channels in each direction
- FlexLink port for lowest latency, bidirectional transfer of 192 channels audio, clock, and power
- Remote control via USB: web remote (no software required) or UART command line
