Netgear ProSafe M4300 48G Managed Switch 48 x 10GbE

The NETGEAR ProSafe M4300 48G Managed Switch is a purpose-built, high-performance solution designed for mid‑enterprise edge networks and SMB core deployments. Engineered to deliver scalable, low-latency 10 Gigabit Ethernet services, this switch blends powerful L2/L3/L4 switching with IPv4/IPv6 support, robust security, and effortless management. Ideal for organizations seeking a dependable spine/leaf or campus distribution layer, the M4300 48G combines enterprise-grade features with intuitive operation, all in a compact form factor that fits demanding data-center and network edge environments. Its stackable design and full PoE+ capabilities make it a versatile cornerstone for video surveillance, wireless access point deployment, bandwidth-hungry applications, and future-ready network convergence.

  • Powerful 48 x 10GbE ports deliver the bandwidth needed for high-speed server access, storage, virtualization, and fast uplinks across mid-sized campuses and data centers.
  • Seamless stacking with other M4300 models enables scalable, spine-and-leaf architectures and simplified network growth without rip-and-replace upgrades.
  • Full PoE+ support powers compatible IP cameras, access points, and other PoE-enabled devices, reducing the need for separate power infrastructure and simplifying cabling.
  • Comprehensive L2/L3/L4 feature set with IPv4/IPv6 routing, QoS, ACLs, VLANs, and multicast provides fine-grained control, security, and performance for business-critical applications.
  • Intuitive management and robust security features—including a web-based GUI, CLI access, SNMP, and secure administration—make deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance straightforward for IT teams.

Technical Details of Netgear ProSafe M4300 48G Managed Switch 48 x 10GbE

  • Ports: 48 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10GBASE-T) for high-bandwidth client and uplink connectivity.
  • PoE+: Full PoE+ capability supports power delivery to compatible devices, enabling flexible deployment of IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-equipped endpoints.
  • Stacking and scalability: Designed for stackable deployments with other M4300 switches, enabling scalable architectures and simplified management across multiple units.
  • Routing and switching: Supports L2/L3/L4 switching with IPv4 and IPv6, enabling advanced routing, QoS, ACLs, and multicast for efficient traffic control and security.
  • Management: Web-based GUI and CLI access for configuration and monitoring, plus SNMP support and routine firmware updates to keep devices secure and up-to-date.

How to install Netgear ProSafe M4300 48G

  • Rack mounting and placement: Install the M4300 48G in an appropriate 19-inch rack with adequate airflow. Ensure ventilation to maintain cooling and reliability in the data center or collocated office environment.
  • Power and cabling: Connect the switch to a stable power source and use high-quality cables for the 10GbE ports. Plan your cabling to minimize cross‑talk and optimize airflow inside the rack.
  • Initial connectivity: Connect core network devices or aggregation switches to uplink ports to establish our baseline topology. From there, attach access switches or edge devices to the remaining ports as required by the network design.
  • Access and configuration: Use the web-based GUI or command-line interface (CLI) to perform initial configuration. Set up IP addressing, VLANs, routing (IPv4/IPv6), and QoS policies to support your applications and security requirements.
  • Stacking and deployment: If you are building a spine-leaf or multi‑tier topology, configure stacking groups with other M4300 units to enable centralized management, synchronized firmware, and consistent policies across the stack for scalable performance.

Solid Kids Sandals, Overpriced Like Most Kids Shoes 🌞
Size: 11 Little Kid, Color: Brown, Size: 11 Little Kid, Color: Brown
My son hasn’t worn these yet since it’s December in Indiana and sandals + snow obviously don’t mix. 😂 So this review is based on first impressions rather than long term wear. That said, these seem wider than a lot of typical kids’ sandals, which I REALLY appreciate since we tend to have wider feet in our family. #hobbitfeet The quality feels pretty decent overall. They’re described as lightweight, and while they’re not insanely lightweight, they do have enough weight to feel semi-sturdy and not flimsy or cheap. I like the style and color, and I think they’ll work well for my son once warmer weather hits. My main complaint is the price. At just under $24 at the time of this review, it feels a little high for kids’ sandals and for what these are. I really feel like $20 MAX would make more sense. Kids shoes are almost always priced like adult shoes, even though they clearly use less material, and that’s hard for me to understand and wrap my mind around. Overall, these seem solid for daily wear, I just wish the price was a bit more reasonable and affordable.
