Allows you to relocate the factory Honda Acura IAT (intake air temperature) sensor to a charge pipe or intake. In the factory configuration, it is a known fact that aluminum intake manifolds can become heat soaked which falsely gives the ECU a higher air temp reading. In a stock motor ecu setup this isnt a problem, however when you add a turbocharger, supercharger, or other aftermarket bolt ons, this can cause issues.
Aluminum flange (CNC Machined). Allows you to relocate the factory Honda/Acura IAT (intake air temperature) sensor to a charge pipe or intake.
In the factory configuration, it is a known fact that aluminum intake manifolds can become heat soaked which falsely gives the ECU a higher air temp reading. In a stock motor/ecu setup this isnt a problem, however when you add a turbocharger, supercharger, or other aftermarket bolt-ons, this can cause issues. Ideal placement of the IAT sensor would be right before the throttle body on the intake piping or charge piping.
Also, some OBD2 Honda/Acuras come with the air temp sensor in the intake piping, and in a force induction configuration you need to find a secure way to mount the IAT to the charge pipe/intake so it does not blow out under boost.
Another application these can be used with are some JDM intake manifolds dont have the flange on the intake manifold to mount the factory IAT sensor. You can add this flange to the intake in this situation.

Solid bamboo board set for the price

This bamboo cutting board set has been a nice addition to my kitchen. I like having different sizes available, and I especially appreciate being able to reduce how often I use plastic cutting boards. Mine did have a strong odor at first, but after washing them and letting them air out, that went away. They also seem good for the price

Awesome Boards….BUT the Smell!!!!

I’d love to give these 5 stars, they are heavy, well made, smooth, deep juice grooves, just nice….but the smell! I washed them, then used vinegar on them, set them outside over night, washed them again….its better but still present. I’d love some guidance on this. I’m hoping it goes away in a few days. It’s like a very strong woodsy smell that actually made my whole kitchen smell like these boards!
Edit: Ok, here's what I did. Washed, let dry, coated and scrubbed with apple cider vinegar, set them in a high air flow area for 24 hours (I put mine outside on the patio over night), washed and scrubbed again, let dry, scrubbed with lemons and salt, let dry, washed again. Finally, there is still a slight smell if you push them against your nose but that seems to be fading as well. So, great boards if you want to go stubbornly go through the smell removal process. I don't think it's a chemical smell, I think it's processed bamboo that is shrink wrapped in air tight packaging too soon after manufacturing. Anyway, I'll move this to 4 stars....but lots of work involved here!
