Born and raised in Japan, Etsuko joined the ceramics world upon discovering a clay studio in San Francisco in 2002. For inspiration and motivation she visits Japanese pottery villages. She has participated in Maker Faire and the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA).
