This is our COMFORT CUB OLIVE! Our therapy version of our cuddle cub Olive.
The difference between a “Cuddle Cub” and a “Comfort Cub” is that cuddle cubs are highly detailed and use advanced painting techniques and come with the option of hand rooted hair. Whereas COMFORT CUBS use a simpler painting approach and are intended for therapeutic purpose. Our Comfort Cub line of babies focuses solely on feel, weight and simple details. Babies are still hand sculpted, poured and painted into comforting perfection.

She is the perfect newborn size measuring in at 19 inches with her leg scrunched and weighs in at 7lbs 5oz! Who wants a weighted blanket to calm them when a perfectly weighted baby is so much cuter!? 

Olive is poured in platinum grade marshmallow silicone giving her skin a very realistic feel. Her silicone is mixed to a realistic skin pigment with “in silicone” color effects that prolong her realism. Her details are hand painted with high quality silicone paints creating a simple yet realistic look. She has an open mouth that can accommodate a full pacifier and bottle nipple. (Tongue can be purchased separately from our store). Each Olive is created by hand and may come with imperfections in her silicone as all handmade silicone babies do. Due to the soft marshmallow nature of the babies, it is near impossible to get a “perfect pour.” This unique silicone softness is used to ensure the therapeutic success and use of them as comfort babies. Comfort Cub babies are imperfect so please examine photos closely. Even still, she is truly a unique work of art! Olive needs to be handled with the utmost care as you would handle a real newborn baby.
She will come home with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), as well as care instructions and a birth certificate for you to fill out. She will be delivered in a hospital outfit and wrapped in an authentic hospital blanket. She will also come with a pacifier and extra diaper.
