When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside of it?
Both methods are possible. For most projects, sandwich the stabilizer with the fabric inside the hoop for best tension. However, you can float the stabilizer beneath the bottom frame when working with thick or delicate materials. This flexibility helps achieve smoother results with the MaggieFrame embroidery magnetic hoop for Janome machines.
Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?
As with most third-party magnetic embroidery frames, the machine generally won’t auto-detect the 7.6″ × 2.7″ (195 × 70 mm) hoop size.
