Residing in Amsterdam, the Cairo Liberation Front collective represents the future of European club music taking equally from house, punk, and psychedelia, filtered through generations of hedonistic groove. The six tracks on this picture disc EP, Nymphaea Caerulea, holds the essence of what psychedelic dance music is about: escapism. It puts the listener outside of time somewhere on the banks of the Nile, just before dawn. The combination of Al Lover's use of samples, drum machines, live instrumentation, and analog synthesizers, clashes beautifully with the fierce energy of the CLF's sound of cracked software, American hip-hop, Euro house, and Arabic rhythms.

Interesting Concept, But Redundant If You Already Use BHA
If you have seen this Glow Rice Exfoliant Ampoule Duo on Instagram or TikTok, you already know the marketing pitch: a gentle, soft peel that physically cleans out pores on your face and body. After testing it, I can confirm that it actually does clean pores, but the mechanism is nothing magical. It relies on the friction of massaging the serum into your skin to clump up and manually extract dead skin and debris. It is a satisfying and interesting process to watch, but it isn't groundbreaking.The biggest drawback is its redundancy if you already have a solid skincare routine. I noticed that when I use this product after my usual BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) exfoliant, it becomes completely ineffective. Because the chemical exfoliant already cleans deep inside the pores and dissolves dead skin cells, this manual friction gel finds nothing left to grab onto. It is a decent, gentle physical exfoliant that does the job, but if you already use a chemical exfoliant like BHA, you can safely skip this social media trend.

Skin feels so soft!
I actually love this stuff it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft after I use it! I don’t see a difference between the two they both work equally imo. Great if you’re in a budget and was great exfoliation!

Not as good as the real thing
I was really hoping to get a less expensive alternative to Dr Melaxin’s version. This just isn’t cutting it - it totally is not as effective, so I’m tossing this and going back. This one just doesn’t pill up as effectively.
