My piece “There Goes The Darling Bird” was painted late into the night in August 2021 specifically to benefit NGOs operating in Afghanistan. It’s a reflection on Peace, how quickly it can take wing, how fragile and feathered it is, how fervently we must cherish it.

The original piece has already been auctioned to raise funds for Afghanistan, but you can order archival-quality fine art prints using this listing, and 50% of your purchase will be donated directly to humanitarian aid organizations operating in Afghanistan (purchases are currently benefiting Women for Afghan Women). 

The artwork is printed on 340 gsm archival-quality watercolor paper, and each print will be signed by me. Please note that the 8x10 prints include a white border and the 5x7 prints are trimmed on the left and right sides to fit the modified aspect ratio. Shipping Notice
Ships for free within the United States! Please allow 2-4 business days for this item to ship. Prints shipped within the US will be mailed with cardboard backing to ensure maximum durability during transit. 

International Shipping Notice
Free international shipping is now available for my small fine art prints (those measuring under 5x7 inches), but please note that if you are located outside the United States, your print will be shipped as a letter. It will be mailed in a Kraft paper envelope with a protective cellophane sleeve but without cardboard backing or tracking. This is because international USPS rates for rigid packages are prohibitive for items of this size. (However, if you'd like to pay to have your print shipped with tracking and cardboard backing, feel free to select the "USPS First Class International" option during checkout.)
