Cold Beat is a San Francisco-based quartet fronted by HANNAH LEW (synths, vocals) with KYLE KING (synths, guitar), LUCIANO TALPINI AITA (synths) and SEAN MONAGHAN (guitar). Formed in 2013 the band has released three albums and two EPs. A Simple Reflection is a 7-song collection of Eurythmics covers, yet feels just as personal as any of their original material. While digging through a collection of 12"s for her record shop Contact Records, Lew stumbled across the earliest Eurythmics B-sides and was floored. This lead to the discovery of their debut album In The Garden. Annie Lennox's abstract and poetic lyrics really struck a chord with Hannah. What had started out as a single cover quickly snowballed into a full blown obsession. The synth and drum programming resonated with her songwriting process, so reimagining them was very creatively fulfilling. The covers on this EP are simultaneously dynamic and atmospheric post-punk that plays to Lew's ethereal vocals and King's crystalline guitar. All songs have been mixed by MIKEY YOUNG (Total Control) and mastered by GEORGE HORN at Fantasy Studios. The record is housed in a jacket designed by ELOISE LEIGH, which features pink and purple clouds that evoke a dreamy softness and DIY playfulness and photos Lew in her best Lennox-inspired drag. Each copy includes a postcard with photos and notes. Glow in the dark is great for fetch at night. I keep a flashlight with me because the glow doesn't last really long. But they charge very quickly and are really bright.

Indestructible

These balls are indestructible! We have a lab and a lab mix and they CANNOT damage these balls. They love them for fetch and to just chew on them (slightly squishy, but NO damage). Best toys we have bought for them.

Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard
White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it.
Orange is easy to see in the grass at day
They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too
The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.

If you were looking for a sign to buy this, here it is
Color: A) Small 2.5" Ball
If you are looking for a ball that can stand up next to a heavy, aggressive chewer.. this is a good choice. Our Pitbull literally destroyed any and every toy that she gets with the exception of one kind of kong ball. She tore through the kong Frisbees, any kind of squeaker toy, and the wobble wag giggle ball (she usually always ends up destroying these but it takes a few weeks. Today she beat her record and had her brand new ball destroyed within the first 30 minutes of us taking it out of the box). But, this ball she has not been able to destroy. I'd like to believe that the Kong ball she has and this ball are made of the same material. Because they are the only balls she can't ruin. And it's not because of a lack of trying. We have watched her sit there and chew with a side of her mouth for an hour or more, trying to make some kind of indention or tear in it and it just never happened. She loves to chew this thing, chase this thing, sleep with this thing. I most certainly recommend this ball. If it is I'ah proof then it is most certainly, 100% a durable ball and worth every penny
