Meet the bridge between aging copper Ethernet and modern fiber networks with the Allied Telesis Taa (federal) 10/100TX to 100FX LC MM Media & Rate Converter. Designed for federal procurement and global deployments, this small, purpose-built device enables seamless, plug-and-play conversion from copper to multimode fiber, making it an indispensable component for data centers, campus backbones, and field installations. The TAA-compliant unit is engineered to operate reliably in diverse environments, delivering stable performance without complicated configuration. Whether you are upgrading a legacy LAN, extending reach between buildings, or linking remote sites to a central core, this media converter delivers the speed, compatibility, and durability you need to keep networks running smoothly.

  • Flexible copper-to-fiber conversion: This media converter provides a copper RJ-45 10/100TX interface for legacy devices and a fiber LC 100BASE-FX MM interface for multimode fiber networks. It seamlessly bridges older Ethernet equipment with modern fiber infrastructure, enabling smooth interconnectivity across mixed-network environments. The unit is designed for hassle-free integration, with auto-sensing capabilities that eliminate the need for manual speed or duplex configuration in most scenarios.
  • TAA (federal) compliance and multi-region PSU: Built to meet U.S. government procurement standards, this converter carries TAA compliance, ensuring suitability for federal projects, defense contractors, and approved agencies. The multi-region power supply supports deployments across geographic regions, simplifying procurement and inventory management for global organizations. This feature helps buyers stay compliant while maintaining reliable operation across regional power landscapes.
  • Plug-and-play operation with auto-negotiation: The device is designed for quick deployment with minimal setup. Auto-negotiation on the copper side and automatic receive/transmit alignment on the fiber side minimize compatibility issues with a wide range of switches, NICs, and fiber devices. This plug-and-play approach reduces downtime and accelerates site readiness, which is especially valuable in federal and enterprise environments where deployment windows are constrained.
  • Rugged, compact design for continuous operation: Encased in a durable metal housing, the media converter is built to withstand everyday networking environments. Its compact footprint makes it easy to deploy in crowded equipment rooms or small cabinets, while maintaining reliability in 24/7 operations. how to install Allied Telesis Inc. Taa (federal) 10/100tx To 100fx/lc Mm Media & Rate Converter

  • Power down the network devices and the converter mounting area before installation to prevent any electrical issues or data loss during setup.
  • Place the media converter in a well-ventilated space with adequate clearance around the unit to allow for heat dissipation and easy cable access. If you are mounting multiple units in a cabinet, arrange cables to avoid known pinch points and ensure proper airflow.
  • Connect the copper side first: insert a standard Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 10/100TX port on the converter and connect the other end to your 10/100TX switch, router, or NIC. Verify that the copper device is powered and correctly configured to operate at 10/100 Mbps if needed.
  • Connect the fiber side next: insert a multimode fiber patch cord with LC connectors into the LC 100BASE-FX MM port on the converter and connect the other end to the 100BASE-FX port on your fiber switch or network device. Make sure the fiber type (multimode) and wavelength match your network specification to ensure proper transmission.
  • Apply power and verify operation: power on the converter and check the LED indicators on both copper and fiber sides. A steady link LED typically indicates a valid connection, while blinking activity LEDs confirm data transmission. If either side does not indicate a link, recheck cable connections and port configurations on attached devices.
  • Test end-to-end connectivity: after establishing link and activity on both sides, run a basic network test from a connected copper device to a target device on the fiber side to confirm throughput and reliability. If issues arise, review fiber polarity, patch cable quality, and confirm that the connected devices support the negotiated speed and duplex settings.
  • Maintenance and placement tips: keep the converter away from excessive dust, moisture, and direct sunlight. Use proper cable management to prevent strain on connectors and maintain a tidy rack or cabinet environment. If you plan extended deployments, document the configuration and keep spare power adapters compatible with the regions where the device will be deployed.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
