The Raritan Dominion PX3 36-Outlets PDU is purpose-built for demanding data centers, server rooms, and network closets where reliable, scalable power distribution is non-negotiable. This 0U, rack-mountable three-phase PDU delivers a dense 36 IEC 60320 C13 outlets fed from a robust NEMA L21-30P input, providing up to 230 V AC and an impressive 8600 W of total power. Designed to optimize usability and minimize downtime, the PX3 combines high-capacity power delivery with network-enabled management, enabling you to monitor loads, configure alerts, and maintain tight control over critical equipment from a single, centralized interface. Whether you’re expanding a rack footprint or upgrading existing infrastructure, the PX3 is engineered to maximize uptime, improve cable hygiene, and simplify power management across complex deployments.

  • The PX3 features 36 IEC 60320 C13 outlets, arranged to maximize rack density while keeping cables organized and accessible for routine maintenance or rapid swaps during escalation events. This outlet configuration supports a wide range of servers, storage devices, and networking gear, reducing the need for supplementary power strips and minimizing voltage drop across the rack.
  • Powered by a NEMA L21-30P input, the PX3 supports three-phase power distribution, delivering balanced, scalable power to a heterogeneous IT environment. Three-phase input helps distribute electrical demand evenly across phases, improving overall system stability and reducing the risk of overloads on any single leg.
  • With a 0U, rack-mountable form factor, the PX3 preserves valuable rack space while providing sturdy mounting hardware and straightforward integration into standard 19-inch racks. The ultra-slim profile is ideal for dense data center layouts, lab environments, and edge deployments where vertical space is at a premium.
  • Designed for high-power workloads, the unit supports 230 V AC operation with a remarkable total power rating of up to 8600 W. This capacity accommodates power-hungry servers, networking appliances, and storage arrays, helping you consolidate distribution without sacrificing performance or reliability.
  • Network visibility and control are built in via RJ-45 connectivity, enabling remote monitoring, event alerts, and centralized power management. This feature simplifies out-of-band management, reduces on-site visits, and supports proactive maintenance by delivering actionable data to your data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and management software.

This IS where you start to understand it all!
Format: Paperback
While I haven't received my Second Edition book yet I do have the First Edition and I can say it's very thorough and well explained to even the beginner level. If you're trying to learn both Linux and Cybersecurity this IS the place you want to start. It will save you a ton of headaches and you're getting VERY VALUABLE skills you can use in any scenario. I would call it an advanced starting point. Linux itself can be somewhat difficult and daunting to learn and understand if you're coming from a strict use (Windows in my case) OS 25+ years. This book bridges that gap effectively and you can absorb the knowledge with a little work. Also watching OTW's video on YouTube with David Bombal is an excellent follow along source. In my opinion, OTW does the best job of explaining exactly what you need to know. And follow it up with a video or two of how to understand the Linux file system and you'll soon be set to go. David Bombal's vids on setting up VM on your computer are also very helpful! If your intention is to get into Cybersecurity from zero knowledge this IS the best point to gain valuable knowledge whether it's to crack into IT, Cybersecurity or just for your own knowledge, this book is worth 10x it's price!
