Each unit is 100% hand made, one at a time. We do all of the woodwork and finishing in-house and spare no expense. Our version of the Rangemaster includes a "depth" control which allows you to dial in the frequency being boosted with 3 input cap options. From classic treble boost sounds all the way to full-range beefy boosty goodness.
- Switchcraft jacks
- True-bypass vintage style slider switch
- Convenience switch on the back to turn the battery on/off (saves power and you don't need to unplug your cables)
- Hardwood tree logo and faceplate (usually Mahogany)
- NOS Germanium Transistor
- NOS audio grade capacitors
- Dale Military Spec resistors or NOS Carbon Comp resistors
- Hand made 1 at a time
For us, building effects and electronics is not only an intellectual challenge, but it's a highly creative one. From our most simple, economical SMD-based clones all the way to these high-end, point to point hand made pieces of "furniture"--we love it all. Different challenges and creative problems to solve. The Custom Shop is a highly limited-batch series that we'll be adding to slowly and dropping at various times throughout the year. These effects are built on old-school terminal strips with the finest NOS and rare components we can source.
