The watch
A staple in every Seiko enthusiast’s collection, this Lord Matic 5606-7000 with a unique case design.
In excellent condition, it might have been lightly polished. A new NOS crystal has been fitted and a clasp extender has been added to add some length to the bracelet.
Details
The Seiko Lord Matic was positioned just below the famous King Seiko and Grand Seiko line. The 5606 is an automatic movement with hacking function. The day can be displayed in Japanese Kanji or English.
These models often have a broken quickset function, which is still intact in this watch. However, be cautious when changing the date – don’t do this between 9 and 4 at night, when the mechanism is engaged, to avoid breaking.
