Vinyl LP pressing. King of New York by King Cyst is a 42-minute odyssey about the limits of carnal adventure in New York City. Songs weave together circuitous paths, dead-ends and social impasses; the humanism of it's heroes and heroines is strained by their undying libidos. Seductive in the same way a disproportionate painting might be, King of New York is candid series of portraits. Luka Usmiani is the principal storyteller on King of New York. Usmiani, who adopted the moniker King Cyst for his madcap debut Real Pussy on Underwater Peoples in 2012, is a rueful vocalist with a baritone reminiscent of Kevin Ayers, and a guitar player of unlimited range. A love of the Canterbury greats has guided his by-now matured songwriting craft, and with good fortune Usmiani has assembled an outfit for King of New York skilled enough to play equal to that scene's high standard of musicianship. Joining Usmiani on King of New York are Al Carlson (alto sax, baritone sax, flute), Alex Craig (bass), Dorian DeAngelo (organs, electric piano, piano), and Sam Franklin (drums, percussion, loops). Instrumental passages are deployed with the same sophistication and artful pleasure as Usmiani's deadpan narratives, with Carlson's horn melodies in particular carving out gleeful Gerry Rafferty-esque delights throughout.

Nourishing mango & hibiscus - LOVE!!
Scent: Mango & Hibiscus, Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I was looking for a clean nontoxic alternative to my usually shampoo and conditioner. I’ve alternated around between the expensive salon-grade and Sephora products for the past 10 years. I thought I’d give Babo’s new shampoo and conditioner a try because I love the body wash. I love this stuff! It makes my hair so clean and soft. For reference, my hair type is straight and fine, but I have a lot of hair. I’m brunette and haven’t colored it in over a year.
I noticed the shampoo doesn’t foam up as much as other shampoos I use, but my hair still comes out clean and I can usually go 5 days between shampooing again (I double shampoo my roots which helps).
I also noticed the conditioner is a little more on the milkier/thinner side, which makes sense for the products to have more flow to them because they are in cartons meant to pour.
I still use my usual leave-in conditioner spray and some hair oil after I wash and it all works great together.
Overall I love the shampoo + conditioner, they smell great, they cost less than my usual products and they’re clean ingredients so it’s a win win. Worth a try!

Great product
Scent: Mango & Hibiscus, Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Excellent product. It's very gentle on your hair, even if used in hard water. It's over priced though, and there isn't very much in the container.

Horrible packaging, not recommended
Scent: Mango & Hibiscus, Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I didn’t see any positive or negative results, but main concern is packaging. Car board box is absolutely horrible idea for this kind of product, you will have zero control or idea how much you are going to poor to your hand, you can’t use refill bottles with pumps, because you have to shake it every time before use. Wouldn’t recommend to nobody, maybe it’s very healthy and good for hair but putting it in this box is terrible idea. Only good thing is smells okay, but they all smell good. And you can’t even return like this thing so waste of money. It spills everywhere, and if you drop or loose the cap you can’t even shake properly anymore.

Not effective and too little product
Scent: Mango & Hibiscus, Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have been on the hunt to find a more sustainable shampoo. I saw a lot of people recommend this brand and this shampoo specifically. I figured I would give it a shot. The product itself is very watery and you need to shake the box for every use. Also, I learned that in order to have the product work, I would need a lot of product! The packaging also starts to get a bit soggy while in the bathroom overtime. I love the smell of this shampoo and I love that it is working hard to be more sustainable, but this product, unfortunately, doesn't work well and I need to use too much to clean my scalp.
I will still be looking for a product that is effective and sustainable. The hunt continues!
