Why Tallow Works Above AND Below the Neck

The chemistry isn't different. Your face skin and your body skin both produce sebum, both have a lipid barrier, both age, and both respond to moisture they can actually absorb. The myth that face needs a "lighter" formula and body needs a "heavier" one is mostly marketing — what matters is the right ingredients for your skin's biology.

Tallow's fatty acid profile is nearly identical to your skin's natural sebum on both face and body. It absorbs cleanly, is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, and stays put. The Nourishing Face Balm and Whipped Body Butter share the same core philosophy and most of the same ingredients — they're scaled to the right finish for each application.

What's NOT in Either Product

No synthetic fragrance (the body butter scents are 100% plant-based; Unscented has no scent at all). No alcohol. No water. No formaldehyde-releasing preservatives (DMDM Hydantoin, Quaternium-15). No phthalates, parabens, or known questionable additives.

Gentle Through Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Both products are hand-made by Joe and Jen Popovich with pregnancy, breastfeeding, and sensitive skin in mind. Choose Unscented if you're in a trimester where scents trigger nausea, or simply prefer no added scent while nursing.

How to Use

1. Face (AM and PM): Cleanse, pat skin slightly damp, warm a small amount of Nourishing Face Balm between fingertips, massage into face and neck.
2. Body (after shower or as needed): Scoop a small amount of Whipped Body Butter, warm between palms, massage into damp skin focusing on dry areas.
3. Hands, elbows, knees, heels, cuticles: Either product works for spot-treatment of dry patches throughout the day.

Which body butter scent should I choose?
For pregnancy, sensitive skin, or fragrance-reactive skin: Unscented. For a soft, warm, morning-leaning scent: Vanilla Whisper. For a bright, uplifting citrus-floral scent: Golden Haze. All three use 100% plant-based scents (or no scent at all) — no synthetic fragrance.

Can I just use the Body Butter on my face too?
Yes — many customers do, especially for dry winter skin. The Nourishing Face Balm is more targeted (chamomile/calendula-infused jojoba, finer texture, designed for face-specific concerns), but the Body Butter works on the face too if you want to simplify further.

How long will the bundle last?
With daily AM/PM face use and daily body use, expect 2-3 months from the body butter and 2-3 months from the face balm. Both are full-size, not sample sizes.
