The Kodak Alaris Scanner Flatbed Accessory unlocks a new dimension of versatility for your imaging workflow. Designed to attach seamlessly to compatible Kodak Alaris scanners, this compact flatbed turns your feeder-based device into a capable digitization platform for bound books, fragile documents, photographs, magazines, receipts, and other materials that don’t feed well through a traditional feeder. With a high-clarity glass surface, secure mounting, and optimized lighting, you can capture sharp, true-to-life reproductions that preserve details, color, and texture. Whether you’re digitizing archival materials, creating client-ready records, or building a comprehensive document library, this accessory helps you do it faster, more accurately, and with less manual handling.

  • Versatile scanning for bound materials and delicate documents: The flatbed surface accommodates books, vellum, postcards, and fragile papers without damaging the material or forcing it through a feeder. It’s ideal for archival projects, legal records, or personal mementos that require careful handling and high-fidelity imagery.
  • High-fidelity color and detail: Expect accurate color reproduction, sharp text, and faithful texture rendering. The anti-glare glass and calibrated lighting minimize reflections while preserving subtle tonal gradients, making OCR and metadata extraction more reliable and your digital copies more usable for search and retrieval.
  • Efficient, intuitive workflow: Built to integrate smoothly with your existing Kodak Alaris setup, this accessory reduces the number of steps needed to scan non-feedables. It supports quick calibration, straightforward alignment, and seamless software workflow integration, helping you move from纸 to digital faster.
  • Durable, user-friendly design: The flatbed accessory is built for daily use in busy offices, libraries, or studios. It features a sturdy mounting system, a professional finish, and ease of cleaning—so your investment stays reliable across years of scanning sessions.
  • Software and compatibility advantage: Designed to work with Kodak Alaris software ecosystems and compatible OCR and archiving tools, the flatbed accessory enhances your scanning versatility while preserving compatibility with your existing licenses and workflows.

How to install Kodak Alaris Scanner Flatbed Accessory

  • Power down your Kodak Alaris scanner and unplug the power cord before beginning any installation.
  • Locate the flatbed mounting area on the scanner chassis and remove any removable covers or panels as described in the user manual.
  • Align the flatbed accessory with the mounting points, ensuring the edges seat evenly and the interface connectors engage securely.
  • Secure the accessory using the provided fasteners or clamps, tightening them to a firm but not excessive snugness to avoid stress on the housing.
  • Reconnect any cables and power on the scanner. If prompted, perform a basic calibration or alignment routine to ensure the flatbed and feeder are operating in harmony.
  • Open your scanning software, select the Flatbed mode if available, and run a quick test scan with a sample page to confirm focus, exposure, and color accuracy.
  • Begin regular scanning tasks. When not in use, store materials securely and maintain a clean surface to preserve optical quality for future sessions.

Sturdy cutting boards!
These cutting boards work great and are sturdy. They lose color quickly but re oiling them will help that. Good product.

Great quality for the Price
Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.

Beautiful but terrible quality.
While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.

A unique treatise
Format: Paperback
I've read part way through this book at this point, reading it together with a friend. It provides plenty material for discussion. It seems to me to be aimed at a seminary audience, as there are some theological and Greek grammatical terms used, but not fully explained. It's not quick reading, but it makes up for that in the unique content. The content is to take a dozen key passages whose interpretation has varied over the last couple thousand years, and show exactly how these interpretations have varied. The title of the book, "...in Full Circle" refers to the idea that some contemporary interpretations have more in common with the most ancient church fathers than they do with their immediate predecessors over the last four or five hundred years. All in all, it's a fascinating way of looking at scripture - through the eyes of influential authors over the course of almost twenty centuries.
