The Baum Sputnik Chandelier by Pure White Lines is a striking mid-century inspired lighting piece that combines classic space-age design with refined contemporary craftsmanship. Defined by its symmetrical circular form and aged brass finish, the chandelier creates a bold architectural presence while maintaining an elegant and balanced aesthetic.

At the heart of the design is a circular metal frame finished in aged brass, from which a series of opaline glass shades radiate outward. The fixture features eighteen glass shades positioned on both the upper and lower sides of the frame, creating a layered illumination effect that distributes light evenly throughout the space. When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses the light softly, producing a warm and inviting glow while reducing glare.

The Baum chandelier’s sculptural radial structure draws inspiration from the iconic Sputnik lighting designs of the 1950s and 1960s, a style celebrated for its futuristic yet timeless aesthetic. Its carefully balanced proportions allow the fitting to feel both dramatic and refined, making it an ideal centrepiece above dining tables, in living rooms, or within stylish hospitality interiors.

Crafted from iron and glass with a rich aged brass finish, the chandelier requires 18 × E14 LED lamps and can be dimmed when paired with compatible bulbs, allowing the atmosphere of the room to be adjusted from bright and functional to soft and ambient.
