At Tiso, we understand that wooden paddles are great; they are generally lighter than plastic ones, and much warmer to hold in your hands. The Mixed Wood Paddle is a great mid spec all round paddle made from European timbers of Aspen and Alder. The laminated construction gives greater strength properties and the paddle benefits from a reinforced tip. Using two types of wood also gives added strength and blade rigidity which in turn makes the paddle more effective and more efficient so you will go further for the same amount of effort! It is treated using a unique mixture of varnish resins to protect the wood and help the paddle last a life time.

The blade measures 54cm long and 18cm wide and has a blade area of 804 square centimetres and weighs in at approximately 750g. This paddle is perfectly suited to all round use in all types of canoes.
