London is known for its bustle and intrigues, but the sedate English countryside can host--or hide--any number of secrets. Frances, the widowed Countess of Harleigh, needs a venue for her sister Lily's imminent wedding, away from prying eyes. Risings, George Hazleton's family estate in Hampshire, is a perfect choice, and soon Frances, her beloved George, and other guests have gathered to enjoy the usual country pursuits--shooting, horse riding, and romantic interludes in secluded gardens.
But the bucolic setting harbors a menace, and it's not simply the arrival of Frances' socially ambitious mother. Above and below stairs, mysterious accidents befall guests and staff alike. Before long, Frances suspects these "accidents" are deliberate, and fears that the intended victim is Lily's fiancé, Leo. Frances' mother is unimpressed by Lily's groom-to-be and would much prefer that Lily find an aristocratic husband, just as Frances did. But now that Frances has found happiness with George--a man who loves her for much more than her dowry--she heartily approves of Lily's choice. If she can just keep the couple safe from villains and meddling mamas.
As Frances and George search for the culprit among the assembled family, friends, and servants, more victims fall prey to the mayhem. Mishaps become full-blooded murder, and it seems that no one is safe. And unless Frances can quickly flush out the culprit, the peal of wedding bells may give way to another funeral toll.

Simple, Straightforward and Concise - Ideal for Beginners!

Written by Sophie Merle, The Book of Tapping: Emotional Acupressure with EFT is a short, concise and simple but straightforward guide to Tapping.
What I liked best about this book is that - it is very easy to understand, making it possible for anyone and everyone to explore EFT.
Since this is a very short book, I understand that not much is covered, just the basics predominantly, but if you are looking for an introduction to EFT Tapping and uncomplicated explanations and ideas, this is a book you can check out!

An excellent basic text for anyone interested in learning the EFT system.
Format: Paperback
Over the years I have read a several books on the healing art of tapping and I must say this 106 page soft cover volume (The book of Tapping: Emotional acupressure with EFT by Sophie Merle) is one of the best I have read lately. The step-by-step lessons are easy to follow and everything is explained in a clear and concise way.
This book is organized into ten sections covering the following material: EFT: an energetic technique for health and material abundance, the EFT protocol, working with EFT, a collection of painful statements, the body’s meridians and their emotional function, the various ways EFT can be applied, EFT and the realization of goals, group sessions, two EFT variations and a conclusion.
If you are seeking a good basic introduction to the EFT system you may want to check out this excellent book.

The Book of Tapping by Sophie Merle is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in early February.
The Book of Tapping discusses the use of EFT on the face, upper torso, and hands to loosen energy blockages along different meridians of the body and to relieve emotional stress in addition to physical ailments. There is mention of case studies, self-assessment techniques, a map of meridians, and glossary of EFT-related institutions and practitioners, but it's loosely held together by little else.

Fun Little Book

I love Pug! His simple observations of daily life lead to a powerful philosophy. Be yourself and take time to enjoy the simple pleasures of life are abundantly important to this simple puppy. I recommend this book for all who need a pick-me-up now and then - which is pretty much everybody!!
