A front-facing OLED display allows for easy menu navigation and at-a-glance system status at any angle, in any light.
- To ensure peace of mind during long hours on set, the receiver can be powered via two AA batteries or the BA 70 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack (all included). Power can also be supplied through the USB port, allowing it to run for numerous hours on a USB power pack or indefinitely with access to AC.
Versatile Mounting Options for Receiver
- In addition to the cold shoe mount with a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom, the receiver comes with a magnetic cheese plate that provides flexible mounting options for camera cages and accessory arms.
- The magnetic mounting system lets you securely stack a second transmitter right on top when you’re shooting two on-camera personalities. And Sennheiser offers a combiner cable that will allow you to record both receivers to a camera’s single 3.5mm input.
Bodypack Transmitter with Mute Switch and ME 2 Omni Lav Mic
- The ME 2 lavalier microphone features a forgiving omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound equally well in every direction, for a consistent voice level, even when moving your head. The lav plugs into the locking 3.5mm connection on the compact EW-D SK bodypack transmitter.
- The rugged, all-metal transmitter is equipped with a mute button that can be locked out and overridden from the receiver or a phone/tablet during a take.
- The transmitter quickly pairs with the receiver via Bluetooth at a distance up to 120' at the press of a button.

- EW-D Smart Assist app (free download available separately) provides automated setup, operation, and monitoring using any iOS or Android device via Bluetooth. Auto frequency coordination creates reliable wireless connections for up to 16 systems, no wireless expertise required.
- Remote access to system settings whether at camera or across the set allows for quick and discreet adjustments on the fly—without having to bring the transmitter close to the receiver. If your phone is not available, you can fully operate your system using the buttons on the receiver.
Guidance When You Need It Most
- EW-DP is a wireless system that troubleshoots for you. Smart Notifications provide suggestions to errors that occur when setting up or operating the system. If your audio clips, Smart Notifications will suggest lowering the gain. When your battery is running low, the system will alert you.
- If you try to operate on a blocked frequency, you will be prompted to select another. If your transmitter and receiver are not linked, you’ll be prompted to press sync. And if the talent accidentally mutes their transmitter, you’ll be notified and will have the option to disable the mute remotely.

Iconic, but needs a few notes

A great style, especially for those of us who don't go for the original Aviator style. But these sunglasses do need a few notes.
The size on these have 58mm-diameter lenses with 15 mm between the lenses (if my decoding of the code on the side is correct. This is the largest size in this style, and even at that they are just *slightly* too small at the ears for my head. For context, the Ray Ban Wayfarer with a 50mm lens and 22m nosepiece fits perfectly.
Also these, like the original Aviators, are intended to cover pretty much the entire eye socket, so if you're seeing light coming in from the side or top...they are too small for you.
In other words, if you don't have a specific size head, these may not work for you and you'll be frustrated. I know it's hard to buy online since you don't get to try them on. OTOH, it's a little unethical (in my opinion) to go to a brick-and-mortar store just to try them on so you can turn around and buy them off of Amazon. DIYD and all that.
Assuming the fit is acceptable, these are very well made sunglasses. They just *feel* like quality and the lenses are fantastic. There is some concern on Amazon about some Ray Bans being fakes. The pair I received are the real thing - look for the etched R-B on the left lens (not the lens with the white logo on it), the R-B logo on the nosepieces, the lenses being made of glass (not plastic) and the identifier engraved on the underside of the bridge...these are indicators that you have a genuine pair in your hands. I purchased directly from Amazon, not a "fulfilled by Amazon" purchase, so caveat emptor on that score.
All in all, an outstanding pair of glasses at a good price.

The Real Deal, get them

Lets me start by saying I love glasses and not only that, I am loyal to the multiple pair that I own. That being said I was pretty pissed when some punk kid stole my bag off the beach with my favorite pair, which was a pair called the tonette by electric visual. Great glasses, light, stayed on the face, and looked good but this time around I wanted something a little different. I had seen a pair of these worn around only once and I noticed they werent the over worn aviator style, one of the reason I got these, and immediatly fell in love. Went to the mall the next day and wasnt too surprised when the guy said "for you ill give you a nice deal and only charge you 120.00" needless to say, I gently put them down and walked out. Later that day, I ordered these for 30% off the mall price and got them 2 days later. PRAISE THE LORD FOR PRIME.
PROS:
-authentic ray bans
-comes with the leather case which I still use 6 months after purchase
-great tint
-great glasses
CONS:
-they are a little small but fit my face fine, if your looking for a lot of coverage or have a big head...these probably arent for you
-wire frame, these are my first wire frame glasses and yes they are more sensitive than my old pair but im still rocking them, if you cant baby a pair of glasses dont be surprised if you bend them little
OVERALL:
get these, dont be scared if you think your getting ripped off cause youre not. These are the real deal, just do it

Not cheap, but you get what what you pay for!!!

After seventeen years in the blazing sun of Tucson, Arizona, I FINALLY broke down and brought myself (what I hoped was) a quality pair of sunglasses! I had gone through countless pairs of cheapies and had decided it was time. In the back of my mind, admittedly, I wondered if it was worth it... (I can be tight with a buck). The verdict? WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! My first impression? They felt heavy. Not uncomfortably, mind you, but the mass of something well made. After a day or two that only makes them more comfortable... And yes, over time, a few expected random scratches, but far fewer than their lower priced counterparts. And it's not like I baby them. They get beaten up. And they only seem to look BETTER instead of worse... a true sign of quality! This won't be my last pair. But I don't anticipate having to replace them for a long while. In a nutshell? Buy 'em. You won't regret it!

My Most-Worn RayBans By Far

These are what you buy when you look absolutely horrible in teardrop Aviators, which I do. I've even had commissioned salespeople tell me not to wear teardrop aviators, that's how bad they look on me.
I purchased these in 2012 after owning a pair of Ray Ban New Wayfarers. I wanted something more stylish and more vintage looking. These are light, the earpieces practically disappear on your face, and the lens quality is outstanding. They've been dropped many times but so far, they're still gleaming like new. The nose pads can irritate my nose after long periods of wear, but they're still way more comfortable than my optical glasses.
I wear these when I know I'm going to be in the sun for a long time because they don't give me big tan lines on the side of my face. I tried a 55mm, but ended up needing a 58mm to fit my big head. The lenses on the 58mm are a tad taller than I would like, but they provide excellent sun protection and they don't look bad on me at all. Ironically, I bought my dad a pair of 55mm American Optical sunglasses and they're almost exactly the same size and shape as the 58mm Caravans. They do provide more wrap than the American Optical.
I've gotten a lot of compliments about these, maybe more than any other pair of sunglasses I've ever owned.

Perfect for Pilots

I work in aviation and got these because they have a very top gun, fresh-esque look. The glass is solid, I’ve dropped them a few times and haven’t scratched them yet (from August - March). Fits perfectly under my headset and they can slide on and off pretty easily with the headset on. I can see the G1000 perfectly, without losing any of the panel as I did with my polarized glasses.
Good shades - slightly too small for my face, hence the four stars.
