विजया पार्वती व्रत एक पवित्र उपवास है जिसे मुख्य रूप से कुंवारी लड़कियाँ और विवाहित महिलाएं करती हैं। इस व्रत का उद्देश्य देवी पार्वती से आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करना होता है ताकि वैवाहिक जीवन में सौहार्द बना रहे, जीवन की बाधाओं पर विजय मिले और मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण हों। यह व्रत आषाढ़ मास (जून–जुलाई) के शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया तिथि को रखा जाता है। इसमें देवी पार्वती की विजया गौरी स्वरूप में पूजा की जाती है। स्कंद पुराण जैसे ग्रंथों में वर्णित कथा के अनुसार, पार्वती जी ने भगवान शिव से पुनर्मिलन और ब्रह्मांडीय संकटों पर विजय पाने के लिए कठोर तप किया था। विवाहित महिलाएं इसे सौभाग्य (पति की लंबी उम्र और समृद्धि) के लिए करती हैं, जबकि अविवाहित कन्याएं योग्य जीवनसाथी की प्राप्ति के लिए इस व्रत को करती हैं।
