The central column assembly also allows for 360° of independent rotation. The middle column can be utilized as a retractable cross arm or a small camera boom thanks to the tilt and swivel movements that allow for constant pushing and pulling. This makes it simple to raise an attached camera toward an elevated subject or over a scene. When the tripod legs are lowered to a minimum height of 9.0, a camera placed toward the end of the center column can be positioned perpendicular to the tripod ". For copy stand or macro photography, the camera can then be extended past the tripod's legs.
