After a long search the Savior found Simon nestled under a big shade tree. Comfortable and cool Simon had no idea of the danger that he was in. So the wise shepherd shared wisdom about life's challenges and dangers with this young lamb. He told Simon that he wanted him to learn to make choices and grow, but in doing so he also

Comfortable and cool Simon had no idea of the danger that he was in. So the wise shepherd shared wisdom about life's challenges and dangers with this young lamb. He told Simon that he wanted him to learn to make choices and grow, but in doing so he also needed to make good decisions, and never wander too far from the loving protection provided him by the Savior. The Savior said "Remember, my little one," he whispered, his voice a gentle breeze in the stillness of the evening, "no matter where life may take you, I will always be by your side, guiding you with love and grace, if you will just try to stay close to me."

So with gratitude, Simon from that day forward made sure that he always stayed close to the Savior.
