"Isn't it possible to turn some local material into duets, for example Moravian songs?" This question was posed by Jan Neff, himself from Moravia, who grew tired of repeating German songs over and over again at the piano with his wife and Antonín Dvorák. His question in fact stood at the birth of Moravian Duets and also marked the beginning of Dvorák's journey abroad. "Why not, find good lyrics and I will take care of the rest." When the composer got the first selection of folk songs from Sušil's collection, he decided to take only the lyrics and provide them with his own tunes. As soon as the duets got into the hands of Johannes Brahms (who was a member of a committee that assessed Dvorák's application for a state scholarship), the well-established composer did not hesitate to recommend them to his Berlin publisher Fritz Simrock. "When you play them, you will enjoy them just as I did, and as a publisher you will especially be pleased by their unique beauty." It was Simrock who initiated the composition of a four-hand version of the Slavonic Dances that led to Dvorák's first major international success. The present recording is unique in another aspect as well: the complete set of 23 Moravian Duets have been played and recorded on Dvorák's original grand piano, a 1879 Bösendorfer that is a pride of the Antonín Dvorák Museum in Prague. The challenge was taken hold of by young musicians who are not only crowned by international laurels but also possess a sensitivity both for the charm of Dvorák's songs and the unique timbres of the instrument touched by the composer's own hands.

Mixed Results: SIHRMIU Dog Chew Toys Offered Stimulation, Limited Interest from Aggressive Chewers
I recently purchased the SIHRMIU 2 Pack Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers with hopes of providing my energetic dogs with both entertainment and stimulation. While these toys boasted durability and were designed to alleviate boredom, my experience with them yielded mixed results.
Upon receiving the chew toys, I appreciated their sturdy construction and the promise of durability, which was essential given my dogs' penchant for aggressive chewing. The variety of textures and shapes seemed promising, offering potential for engaging play sessions that could keep my pets occupied and mentally stimulated.
Initially, my dogs showed some interest in the toys, eagerly sniffing and exploring them. They seemed intrigued by the different textures and shapes, and I was hopeful that these toys would provide the entertainment they needed.
However, as my dogs began to interact more with the toys, it became evident that their interest was short-lived. While they engaged with the toys for brief periods, they quickly lost interest and returned to their usual chewing favorites. Despite their designation for aggressive chewers, the toys did not seem to withstand the intense chewing of my pets as well as expected. Within a short time, I noticed signs of wear and tear, with pieces starting to break off.
While the SIHRMIU dog chew toys offered some stimulation and diversion for my dogs, they ultimately failed to hold their interest or stand up to their aggressive chewing habits. While they may be suitable for dogs with less voracious chewing tendencies, they were not a perfect fit for my pets.
In conclusion, while these chew toys have potential and may work well for some dogs, they fell short of expectations for my aggressive chewers. I appreciate the effort put into their design and durability, but unfortunately, they did not meet the needs of my furry companions.

Sturdy and holding up so far!
Size: Small 15", Style: 3 Knot, Pattern Name: Dog
This is a quality pull toy that my Yorkie ("Finnegan") loves. It is holding together well as my dog can be a maniac at times. Moderate chewing has not hurt this toy. I do not buy toys with squeakers in them as they worry me. Finn entertains himself and then brings toy to me for a tug of war. I recommend this item. Good bang for the buck!

EXCELLENT QUALITY
Size: Medium 20", Style: 3 Knot, Pattern Name: Dog
I have a German Shepherd/Pointer mix who is 10 months old. He has been in the throes of teething and destructive exploration. He's chewed up clothing and shoes. He chewed a hole in our couch and one in our brand new mattress (He was never left home alone until this point but as my mother came to visit and my boyfriend was back at work, I had no choice but to trust him alone for about an hour a day for 3 or 4 days... he clearly didn't earn that trust). He loves ropes because he can gnaw them, whip them around, and play tug of war or fetch with them at any given time. We love ropes because they keep him occupied and relieve his desire to chew things. Unfortunately, he was destroying rope after rope after rope. Some ropes were worrisome because they would quickly start fraying and falling apart. We would have to help remove strings he has swallowed from his behind while he was out doing his business... My boyfriend's mother picked up a Mammoth TireBiter tire and rope toy for him but it was much too small. Still, he loved it and it stood up very well to his chompers despite being way too small/weak for him. Looking for a larger version of the Mammoth TireBiters, I stumbled across this rope toy and gave it a shot. Let me tell you, I don't think I will ever buy rope toys from any other brand! We have had this rope for over a month and it is still going strong. It does show some small signs of wear and tear but you would swear we bought it last week. It is very strong and durable. It has held up through many long gnawing sessions. It has been put through countless hours of fetch and tug of war with no signs of giving out any time soon. I am so in love with this rope and so is my pup!
