Most loudspeakers use highpass filters to help stabilize and optimize woofer performance. Instead, RCF’s design team outfitted the NX 912-SMA with BMC (Bass Motion Control). BMC uses unique DSP to ensure woofer stability all the way down to the lowest possible frequencies. BMC creates a map of the woofer’s dynamic behavior and generates a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursion. With the Bass Motion Control functionality, you get robust bass that other floor monitors simply can’t replicate.
