They fill the key voided areas of the mount to restrict engine roll, providing the perfect balance of compliance and rigidity, making them ideally suited for your daily driven vehicle. As the vehicles age and simple upgrades seeing the 2-ltr turbo engine push power north of 250bhp, the OE rubber engine and transmission mounts are showing their age, with cracked rubber and excessive movement. The effective rod design made from our Black 95A material. Designed to fit within the voiding of the original mount, these new inserts prolong the life of the OE mount by stiffening and limiting movement of the rubber. This results in a more settled transmission response during acceleration and deceleration, improving gear changes and reducing wheel-hop. Hard to judge thickness with only dimensions to go by

Very nice quality, just what I hoped for. But it's just too thick for me. I'm thinking of using my electric knife to try to skim enough off to be usable. I've slept most of my life on latex pillows and have not enjoyed using other pillows.

Good pillow, but too high for my neck

I love the Talalay latex for the quality, and that there is no smell. However, it is too high for my neck. I wish the company would make it in a 3" version, instead of just 5.5". They do have a "slim" version, but it is not even the same kind of pillow. It measures 2.5" and the back side is completely flat, so you can not turn it in over for use. The company basically took this 5.5" version and cut it in half for the slim.
