As a proud son of a civil rights leader, Steven L. Reed grew up hearing stories about how his father integrated Montgomery lunch counters and took advice directly from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Reverend Ralph Abernathy. However, it wasn’t until Reed was in the fourth grade and received a death threat against his father that he began to understand more fully the importance of the lessons his father was trying to impart. At this pivotal moment, his father explained, “My job is to prepare you to be a cross-bearer and not just a crown-wearer. Bigotry has no place in our household. It will only hold you down and make you small.”
First, Best is an essential antidote to the perpetual dehumanization and distortions of Black men in our culture and media. By sharing the story of forging his own path, Reed offers an alternative narrative to Black men coming of age, catalyzing their hope and sense of possibility. Although Reed took a circuitous path to the office of mayor that began by forging his identity at Morehouse College, pursuing entrepreneurship and exploring the wider world, and serving as a probate judge, each step was guided by the values of his father’s generation. First, Best is not just about assuming the mantle of manhood or leadership, nor is it only about the expectation of greatness. Fundamentally, it’s about responsibility and preparation, serving others, and being willing to pay the price of leadership by carrying the weight of each decision. First, Best affirms the next generation of Black men and women by showing, through story and example, their power and potential in a world that doesn’t always root for them.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift

Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills.
Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission.
Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed.

I'm using these again for the 3rd time and they're great as always. My 3rd is still having some issues at night time with bed wetting, and as they get older the bigger the mess, so these truly hold up to a full bladder. And they don't smell by morning like some diaper brands. I'm usually against pull ups, but these are great for up and down ease of use and that added protection when it comes to potty training. I love the bigger size inclusion for larger children which we struggle with for comfort compared to other brands.

Comfort and affordable

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Game Changer for Active Toddlers!
If you have a little one who treats diaper changes like a wrestling match, you need the Pampers Cruisers 360. We switched a few months ago, and I honestly can’t imagine going back to traditional taped diapers.
Here is why they are a staple in our household:
* The "Gap-Free" Fit: The 360-degree stretchy waistband is genius. It fits snugly around the tummy and back, which has completely eliminated those dreaded "blowouts" during playtime or naps.
* Easy On, Easy Off: Putting these on is as simple as pulling up a pair of pants. When it’s time for a change, you just tear the Easy-Tear Sides, roll it up, and use the built-in disposal tape. It makes mid-runway-escape changes actually possible.
* Skin Friendly: My toddler has somewhat sensitive skin, but we’ve had zero issues with rashes. They are incredibly soft—almost like real underwear—and breathe really well.
* Serious Absorbency: Even with a heavy wetter, these hold up overnight without leaks. The Dual Leak-Guard Barriers around the legs are the unsung heroes here.

I'm a mom of 6 and these are the best diapers. No problems. Extremely soft and comfy. Easiest diaper to get on a toddler doing the alligator roll. I put my hands through the leg holes and grab their feet to pull them through for easiest pull on. No problems with blow outs. I love the new tear off feature, so no issue with getting them off. I get them on subscription on Amazon to save money and get the big pack.
