在學校被霸凌的勇氣，在神社救了和他一樣被欺負的小黑狗，並幫牠取名為吐司。為了讓吐司不被人欺負，勇氣帶吐司到深山，卻遇上山豬襲擊。吐司為了救勇氣，拚了命搏鬥，受了重傷……
勇氣在悲傷中，第一次認真面對自己名字的真正意義：拿出「勇氣」面對一切。
因為流感住院的勇氣收到了班上同學送的鬱金香花束，卻發現其中一朵的每片花瓣上都被寫了字：「不‧要‧來‧學‧校‧！」
原來，勇氣從小學五年級開始，因不願同流合汙，一直被班上同學霸凌，母親也因為工作的關係，無法常常陪伴在勇氣身邊。勇氣康復出院，回到學校後，發現同學都故意戴起口罩諷刺他，只有湯淺真知在放學後，拿掉口罩，友善的和他說話。
放學回家的路上，勇氣在神社救了和他一樣被霸凌的小黑狗，撫慰了他的心，他決定把小狗偷偷帶回公寓養，還為牠取名為「吐司」。但媽媽說公寓沒辦法養狗，他只好把吐司放回一開始相遇的地方，每天去找吐司玩。
某天放學，勇氣去找吐司的時候，卻發現親切的真知居然在欺負吐司，甚至拿棍子打牠！吐司嚇得跑去躲了起來。隔天，勇氣跟真知攤牌後，發現在鬱金香花瓣上寫字的人，還有撕破勇氣數學課本的人居然都是她。原來真知之前的友善都是裝出來的，她嫉妒勇氣受到老師的喜愛，所以特別討厭勇氣。
勇氣隔了好多天才再度看到吐司，他想將吐司帶到不會被人欺負的山上，沒想到卻在山上遇到了山豬襲擊。吐司為了保護勇氣被山豬攻擊，受了重傷……勇氣在悲傷中，第一次和媽媽靜靜的聊著天，深刻感受到了媽媽的愛，也第一次認真的面對自己名字的真正意義：拿出「勇氣」面對未來可能發生的一切。

Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard
White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it.
Orange is easy to see in the grass at day
They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too
The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.

Not as good as chuck it anymore

Bouncy, not hard, and good value.

Great balls for the ball launcher and not rockhard like some of the solid rubber balls. These have great bounce, and because of the two holes, they make a fun whistling noise as they fly through the air. My dogs love them and they are a good value.
By the way, if you throw them too hard, they will go through chain-link and no climb fence because they squish a bit!

Excellent dog balls — safe design and very durable

These fetch balls from Amazon Basics are fantastic, and my dog absolutely loves them. One of the biggest reasons I prefer these over other brands is the hole that runs through the center of the ball. This is a very important safety feature: if a dog were to accidentally get the ball stuck in the back of the throat, the hole allows air to pass through. That small detail could literally make a life-saving difference.
Aside from the safety benefit, they bounce well, are easy to clean, and hold up to a lot of playtime. They’re firm but not rock-hard, and my dog goes crazy for them. Great value, great quality, and a thoughtful design.
Highly recommended for dog owners who want a safer alternative to standard solid rubber balls.

Great ball for heavy chewers
