• There are all-new amplifiers in the MK3 series. Total power has increased, however power allocated to woofers increased substantially. The higher output voltages provide more impact. Universal input voltage compatibility of 90-250V provides more flexibility. Waterproof connections provide more peace of mind.

MK3 Enhanced DSP

• The MK3 features an all-new 96 kHz DSP. The pushbutton presets have doubled, from 4 to 8, and up to 100 presets can now be stored in the DSP and loaded via LAN. The comprehensive suite of processing includes meticulously tuned equalization, all necessary high-pass and low-pass filters as well as multiple protection systems and limiters to prevent driver overload in as many ways as possible.

ControlBASS Software

• ControlBASS software supports an essentially unlimited number of possible BASSBOSS-developed or customized user presets which integrate seamlessly and coherently with all other BASSBOSS products for effortlessly perfect setups. The latest in DSP programming developments can be added via easy remote updating.

• The AT312-MK3 driver complement incorporates dual 12” woofers in a vented enclosure for low frequencies, a 12” driver in a sealed enclosure providing midrange, and, at the center of the midrange cone, a co-axially mounted 1.4” exit compression driver provides the high frequencies. Coverage is 80 degrees conical.
• Dual 12” low frequency drivers were chosen to minimize cabinet frontal area while delivering the best possible acceleration and impact in their operating range. Thanks to the narrow frontal area, the AT312-MK3 can provide tremendous output and fidelity while remaining relatively unobtrusive.
• The 12” co-axial mid-high section allows the loudspeaker to function as a point-source, with the two additional low-frequency drivers remaining within ½ wavelength in their operating band. This arrangement delivers more consistent off-axis performance than conventional loudspeakers. The consistency of coverage and the uniformity of the response throughout the coverage area make the AT312-MK3 highly resistant to feedback. The coverage consistency also enhances the loudspeaker’s versatility, allowing it to be mounted horizontally or vertically with no compromise in coverage or performance.
• Although the AT312 cabinet is equipped with a 35mm steel pole socket, DO NOT use this speaker on a tripod or extension pole. This socket is to be used with a special, short section of pole to prevent it from moving once stacked on a subwoofer.

The AT312-MK3 features 4000W of amplification. With 2400W of its power available for thewoofers, 800W available to the midrange, and 800W available to the tweeter, power is plentiful. The amp's high peak-output voltage provides for very intense, high SPL hits.

• On-board presets provide a variety of high-pass filters to suit full-range operation through a variety of settings that maximize SPL when used with a subwoofer. The sealed enclosure provides the flexibility to choose between low-frequency extension or high-SPL operation from the same compact loudspeaker.
• The proprietary BASSBOSS processing ensures exceptional sound quality thanks to its premium quality, high-fidelity electronics. Its ultralow noise CODECS, 96kHz sampling rate processor and high-resolution amplification are some of the finest in the industry.

New to the MK3 are Neutrik powerCON True 1 TOP (Total Outdoor Protection) waterproof mains connectors. Waterproof mains connectors along with a totally isolated input connection section and cones that are waterproofed make the MK3 series the powered loudspeakers that can be used outdoors without fear of what the weather will bring. (Or used indoors without fear of what the partiers bring.)

• The new DSP features an Ethernet interface that can be used to control the cabinets from a computer or to load software or firmware updates. The ethernet connectivity in conjunction with the DSP board allows signal to be sent via Milan AVB. Firmware updates will provide access to this feature.
• Within the software, multiple cabinets can be grouped together, allowing them to respond to commands simultaneously. This permits the levels of multiple loudspeakers to be adjusted together and yet independently from the levels of other groups of loudspeakers. In addition to individual and grouped level controls, presets can be loaded and signal levels and temperatures can be monitored. Each cabinet includes a two-port switch so multiple cabinets can be chained on the same data cable.
• The MK3 DSP features storage capacity of up to 100 presets, eight of which can be accessed at the touch of a button with no need for a connected computer. The eight directly accessible presets are compatible with all the presets in the MK3 Top Boxes and are also compatible with previous generation tops and subs.
