Moto Iron 40 Spoke 21" × 2.15" Front Chopper Spool Wheel

If you’re not planning on using a front brake, using parts that are designed for them can be an aesthetic compromise. This spool wheel is a safe way to provide a clean, neat appearance on the front of your motorcycle.

  • 40-spoke
  • 21” × 2.15”
  • Chrome finish features triple chrome plated hub, spokes, and rim
  • Black finish has triple chrome plated spokes, and black powder coated hub and rim
  • Precision CNC-machined billet aluminum hub—not a three-piece welded steel hub
  • Unique sealed rim accepts either tubeless or tube-type tires
  • Hub laced to wheel rim and trued—just mount a tire and install
  • 3/4" ID sealed bearings for long life
  • Replacement bearings are easy to source; use Harley P/N #9267 or equivalent
  • Bearing dimensions 52mm OD × 3/4” ID × 21mm W
  • Hub width 3.268"
  • Chrome center-exit valve stem included
  • Sold each

These 40-spoke wheels offer a smart, finished appearance for your chopper or custom. They have a particularly unique feature—the sealed spokes. Normally a tube-type tire needs to be used with a conventionally spoked wheel, but this Moto Iron wheel does not require a tube to be used, expanding your selection of compatible tires.

Moto Iron wheels also stand out due to the hub construction—rather than the three-piece, welded steel hubs you'll find on most other wheels, Moto Iron wheels feature a one-piece, precision-CNC-machined aluminum hub for strength, exceptional appearance, and dimensional consistency. Sold individually in your choice of finish.

For safety and ease of mounting, we recommend using a tube-type, vintage-construction tire with all Moto Iron spoked wheels. This is primarily due to the high aspect ratio—the generous sidewall makes mounting fairly easy.

The wheels accept tubeless tires due to the sealed spoke design. However, the seal's additional thickness reduces the effective depth of the drop center. That reduction, coupled with modern tires that can feature stiff sidewalls, may make the installation of some tire and wheel combinations challenging.

Due to this, TC Bros. is not responsible for damage caused by attempts to install modern tires with short, stiff sidewalls onto Moto Iron spoked wheels.

Smooth edges better than twisting
Works a lot better than the crank style and the counter top electric and you can use the lid to reseal the can if you don't use the whole thing.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.

Can opener
It doesn't shut off by itself when done and doesn't shut off when I push the button, so after a while it will shut off but when it wants too after you take it off the can ,like 30 seconds. But I do like the way it cuts, a clean cut and lid removal nice.

So simple to use, I'm amazed
Color: Black
Wonderfully helpful. Description is accurate, shipping was quick. I saw a few poor comments, but I have none so far! The can opener has opened cans of several sizes, from tomato paste to large cans of tomatoes; soup cans to strangely shaped. It's opened 30 or so already without loss of power. It's a little noisy, but about equal to that of a stand up opener. It fits in my drawer, which is less deep than most kitchen drawers. Most of all, it's beyond easy to use for arthritic hands. The ONLY CHALLENGE I have is that it sometimes fails to stop when it should. MANUFACTURER: if you read this and have advice, please share. At this point, I'd say this is a great value for the money.
