Hand Sculpted by American Artists & then Hand Cast in Antique Lead Free Fine Pewter by G.G. Harris, this Antiqued Pewter Armadillo Lapel Pin really stands the true test of hand crafted & Made in America. The Antiqued Pewter versions are first cast by hand in a detailed process then Antiqued to give a truly wonderful look. The Antiqued Copper versions are electroplated with pure copper, in small batches all by hand in a proprietary & environmentally safe process by none other than Sarah's Treats & Treasures with the process completed entirely in house & then the pieces are antiqued. Once completed with the Antiquing process they are then polished with yet another proprietary process, by hand, until they show every intricate detail, which they are then sealed with a clear coat epoxy to prevent any further patina or scratches so they will last the test of time. This is all performed by hand with attention to detail. The 24K Gold versions are electroplated in 24K Gold & then hand polished for a beautiful & bright shine. Our Hand Painted, which are a rare item and once gone will forever be gone, as they are painted by hand in a truly amazing & unique fashion & then coated in acrylic to ensure a forever shine and nick free wearable portrait.
