The R10 connects natively to the Garmin Golf app (required for all use), and is also compatible with GSPro, E6 Connect, The Golf Club (TGC), Awesome Golf, and Creative Golf. All third-party platform subscriptions are sold separately from the hardware.

Width-wise, you'll want enough room to make a full swing comfortably, which typically means 12–15 feet. For a full simulator enclosure setup, room size requirements are larger — the R10 SwingBay® Package requires 11'W x 15'D x 8.1'H, while the Retractable Package needs 11'W x 15'D x 8.5'H when deployed. The main caveat is calculated spin — if that matters to you, it's worth considering whether to step up. If you're asking whether the R10 competes with the newer Garmin R50 — it doesn't, and it's not supposed to.
