The Microjimbo is the latest designed from acclaimed designer, knife guru, US Army veteran, martial artist, and Spyderco's primary technical writer Michael Janich. Like many other scaled down Spyderco models, the Microjimbo specifically designed to retain the operational muscle memory for those familiar with the Yojimbo 2.

Notes

This microjimbo would be an awesome gift for any women in your life who aren't crazy about knives, but open to having a high quality one for themselves. Wharncliffe blades really are amazing for "indoor" utility uses and the small size makes it easy for pocket or bag carry. Also, this may be one of the last times Spyderco will use pink G10, I've heard these sprint runs are intended to use up their existing supply and they won't reorder more later. 

On a more personal note, the Yojimbo 2 is one of my top 5 knife models out of the hundreds of designs I've experienced. In my opinion and usage, wharncliffe blades are best for non-food, indoor uses. Thus, it's no surprise that I carried wharncliffes almost exclusively in my time as a knife enthusiast and box obliterator. 

I've also had the chance to meet Mike Janich a few times in person and he is my favorite person in the knife industry today. He has an incredible depth of knowledge about the history, performance, and applications of knives and even writes all of Spyderco's product descriptions, catalogs, and newsletters.
