Blakey credits Silver with reviving the Messengers name. Blakey formed a new line-up in 1956 that would prove to be somewhat more stable. The most notable name at the time was Jackie McLean. At just 25 he had already recorded with Miles Davis and Charles Mingus. Bill Hardman, Sam Dockery and Jimmy "Spanky" DeBrest filled out the band. They recorded another record for Columbia, Hard Bop, then went on to work for several different labels including RCA subsidiary Vik Records, Pacific Jazz, Elektra, Cadet, Jubilee, Bethlehem and a date on Atlantic featuring Thelonious Monk.
Over this time the band's moniker evolved to include Blakey's name, starting with The Jazz Messengers featuring Art Blakey, then, Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers on several other releases and, for Cu-Bop (Jubilee, 1957), Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers The Jazz Messengers remained a major jazz collective right through until Art Blakey's death in 1990, but the group's golden years were, by that juncture, long past, and it remains this seminal act's records from the mid-1950s through the mid-1960s for which the Jazz Messengers remain so fondly remembered.
This superb collection features eight of the Jazz Messengers' finest records from this era, which feature, alongside maniman Art Blakey, the cream and most renowned players of the time.

Worked when nothing else did, easy, with just a scrubbing pad!

I bought a Catalina 1977 sailboat. The hull (freeboard) was extremely oxidized, dull, and had stains and discoloration from the water running off the deck for years; it was streaked. Everything I tried to clean it did little, until a dockmate told me about this. WOW! It WORKED, and it worked very easily. It reminds me of the old "comet" cleanser, that shakes out of a can -- who knows, maybe its the same thing! A little goes a long way, and with very little elbow grease, I was able to attack the discoloration. Great. I also used it to clean my lifelines, which had discolored quite a bit -- and they now look like new. I LOVE this product, but probably won't buy it again for a few more years -- it lasts that long. Can't recommend it enough!

This stuff works awesome a little goes a long ways I fully went around my old camper top to bottom . And now my arms are rubber it took the black spots grime and oxidation off quickly . And I still have over 3/4 a bottle left I was worried about how much I would use well worth the money I did mix it with water in a squirt bottle to apply it here to hopeing the other stuff brings back the shine I’ll add more photos of the finished

Poli cleaners.

Our trailer was extremely oxidized. I used the Poli wash and fiberglass cleaner, super easy. It removed the oxidation and made our trailer look new again. Next I will try the Poli sealer.

Works OK.

With a lot of work and diligence (elbow grease), the product works at removing oxidation. I expected it to easily remove the old Poliglow as well. Still lots of work. It will NOT remove the brown water stains from the roof of my molded fiberglass camper. Product is OK, but does not work as easily as advertised.
