Doublers are used to boost the absorbency of your diapers.

Made with 3 layers of bamboo viscose/organic cotton fabric, these super absorbent doublers offer extra protection when you need it.  Great for nights, naps, and heavy wetters. Measures 4.5”x12” after fully shrunk.

Before Using the Doublers
  
Pre-wash at least once before use. The doublers will shrink and get thicker with the first few washes.  This shrinkage has been allowed for when designing the doublers. 

General Wash & Care

Keep your wet and dirty diapers in a diaper pail.  Wash your doublers in warm or hot water with the recommended amount of detergent as stated on the detergent’s container.  Too much or too little may cause your doublers to possibly stink, leak, or leave baby with a rash. 

An additional rinse can be used for particularly soiled loads. Make sure that your doublers are rinsed clean. Any residue from poop, urine, detergent or vinegar can make your diapers smell.   Tumble dry on any temperature or line dry.

Do not use fabric softeners.  It will coat the doublers, making them water repellent and reduce the absorbency of the diaper. Be aware that if you use dryer sheets in your dryer for other laundry this can coat your dryer and transfer to your doublers.

Do not use bleach.  This will cause the fabric's fibers to break down prematurely.

Stain removal.  If staining occurs, it is important that any products used to remove the stains are mild so as not to irritate the baby’s skin and/or cause the diapers to prematurely deteriorate.  In most cases, laying the stained items out in the sun is the safest and most effective way of removing stains.
