Conveying the sentiment that dreaming is the first step towards achieving greatness and that dreams are made possible with imagination and determination; the artwork’s composition captures a sense of optimism and movement.
Nic's figurines add a sense of playfulness to the limited edition but illustrate the idea of dreaming as a collective experience – something which includes individual ambition but also support and encouragement from others.
Bursting with vibrant colour, the balloons symbolize the limitless potential and boundless possibilities– each hue symbolizing something unique about life, from creativity and hope to passion and imagination.
This is one of Nic's personal favourites because it resonates with his love of bright aesthetics with a heartfelt meaning.
This artwork is a collector’s edition. For this special collection, Joly has created two different editions for each title which not only vary in size, but have different edition sizes: the Collector's edition, a larger artwork with an edition number of 50 and featuring more of his iconic figurines, while the Conceptual edition is smaller in size and edition number of 190.
