Additionally, the professionel 5e can connect with other devices such as the LEDcontrol+ lighting system.

The individual settings and functions encompass:

• Output control: Gradual increase in water flow rate—maximum capacity surpasses that of standard filters.
• Constant flow: The filter detects increased pollution electronically and automatically adjusts to your preset output, ensuring a steady flow rate and longer maintenance intervals.
• Pulse mode: The electronically regulated alternating current simulates natural flow conditions in the aquarium.
• Bio mode (sun/moon): Alternates between two adjustable flow rates.
• Service indicator: Ongoing monitoring of maintenance intervals with automatic cleaning notifications sent to a stored email address.
• Auto air out: Accumulated air beneath the filter head is detected and automatically released by an electronic program.
• Electronic error indicator: Continuous electronic system monitoring that initiates a program to automatically address any errors.
