Take, for instance, the relationship between an acoustic piano’s strings: when one string is struck, it causes a rippling chain reaction that causes nearby strings to resonate. Casio’s AiR technology reproduces the sympathetic vibrations found in acoustic pianos, further developing the natural and true-to-life sound of the AP-S450 Celviano! The result is a digital upright piano sound that is incredibly realistic and nearly indistinguishable from that of a true acoustic piano — without the need for tuning and acoustic upkeep!

The AP-S450 Celviano also offers a MIDI and audio recorder with internal flash memory and USB storage, so you’re free to record up to 99 songs!
An included WU-BT10 adapter expands the possibilities of your AP-S450 Celviano, letting you connect via Bluetooth to play along with your favorite songs or connect to the Casio Music Space app for expanded features. Pianists can also take advantage of aspects like layer, split and duet mode, plus chorus, brilliance, and preset DSP effects for a digital piano experience like no other!
To access any of the AP-S450 Celviano’s features, simply use the illuminated touch sensor controls. As you play, the illumination of these controls disappears to give you complete and undisturbed focus — you need only touch them to activate them again. You’ll also notice the Visual Information Bar above the keys. When the metronome is engaged, this bar pulses with the beat. It can also be a great visualization of strength and pedal depth to help students with their technique. Connect to the piano via Bluetooth and customize the visualization to the incoming audio! Users who wish for a more authentic upright piano experience can easily disable this function for distraction-free playing.
