ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite Soft Silicone Thin Absorbent Foam Dressing is a gentle, comfortable1, shower-proof2 silicone foam dressing with breathable3 REACTIC? film technology.
ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite Dressings include a gentle silicone gel adhesive, a thin hydrocellular foam core, and a breathable REACTIC waterproof top film that lasts up to 7 days.

KEY FEATURES
• Suitable for use on fragile or sensitive skin6,9 where low to moderate absorbency is required.• Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days reducing the need for frequent changes and allowing the wound to heal undisturbed.
• Waterproof REACTIC top film allows showering2 and acts as a bacterial barrier preventing fluid, bacteria and dirt from entering the wound.10-11
• The hydrocellular foam core balances absorption and retention to create a moist wound healing environment.
• Gentle silicone wound contact layer is non-adherent to the wound, minimally disruptive to healing tissue, low-allergenic9, and provides secure adhesion.8-12
• Can be applied on difficult to dress areas6 like joints, while minimizing skin trauma and pain upon removal.7,8
• Gentle silicone allows the dressing be lifted and repositioned.6-13
Warnings
• Care should be taken when using the dressing under medical devices near the nose and mouth, where moisture can build up and affect adherence, leading to dressing movement.
• Due to the gentle adhesive used, do not use this dressing to secure other medical devices to the patient.
• If reddening or sensitisation occurs discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
• Whilst showering, care must be taken to avoid wetting of the dressing. Do not expose to direct spray or submerge. Do not use with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions (e.g., EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide as these can reduce the absorbency of the dressing.
ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite is a single use product. If used on more than one patient, cross contamination or infection may occur. Opening the dressing pack compromises the sterile barrier therefore any unused dressing should not be retained for use at a later date. If used on infected wounds, the infection should be managed as per local clinical protocol.

How do I use ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite Dressings?
1. Wash hands before and after treating the wound. Gently clean the wound and the surrounding skin. Gently clean the wound and the surrounding skin with clean water and remove any visible dirt or debris.
2. Clean and dry the skin surrounding the wound and clip any excess hair close to the wound.
3. Ensure the absorbent pad area covers the entire wound or area to be protected before applying the dressing.
4. Open the pouch by peeling apart the flaps. Remove the dressing.
5. Start to remove the backing paper from the dressing.
6. Anchor the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin.
7. Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the remaining backing paper.
8. Ensure the dressing is flat to the wound, free from creasing and has adhered all around the wound. The dressing may be repositioned as required.
ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite Dressings can be cut to fit smaller wounds or awkward areas. However, cutting the dressing compromises its bacterial barrier and waterproof properties. If the dressing has been cut, ensure any exposed foam areas are covered with an appropriate film dressing taking care not to cover the entire dressing.

INDESTRUCTIBLE MY DOGS FURRY A@$!!

Let me be completely clear with you all and state that I did NOT go into this purchase honestly believing that the toy would never break or tear. Everything breaks at some point or another. Now that being said, should the company use the word INDESTRUCTIBLE? 🤔 No, absolutely not! One day, that's how long this "indestructible" toy lasted. In less than 24hrs the neck was fully detached from the torso. After the complete non-aggressive decapitation things began to get messy. The head has three broken seams and the torse has four. The stuffing for the toy took longer to pick up and vacuum than the actual toy lasted intact. My dog is not a chewer. He adores playing TuggaFetch(a little light game of tug of war with a nice round of go fetch all in one session). That this toy couldn't even make it a week is sad, but the fact that it couldn't stay intact for less than a day is utterly pathetic and laughable! If your pooch loves to just sit and stare at his/her toys and not play with them then this product is perfect and ideal for your dog! Everyone else, sorry but you gotta keep looking. I feel like I paid this company to force me to vacuum my tv room 5 times in an 8 hour time span. 😩
