The objective of this Widebody Kit was to improve current design characteristics disliked by many WRX VB owners.
We began with the fenders, our solution to fix the obnoxious cladding was to remove them entirely by designing
aggressive widebody fenders that also compliment the distinct design language of the VB, we did attempt to design a basic circular
wheel arch but it did not match the car thus we kept the hexagonal shape.
Next, the front bumper, which is the most important part of the appearance of the car, also created a visual black hole. Our solution was
to redesign the lower half of the front bumper, inspired by the Subaru Viziv STI Concept, we created a larger opening in the center
with two distinct scoops, and the fog light area was given a sculptural look to accentuate the lines of the car. And then as we move to the rear
we designed a racing inspired diffuser to liven up the lackluster design of the rear bumper.
