While many of us adore the sound of raindrops on windows, the sight of greenery drenched in mid-summer downpours or the scent of autumn's fallen leaves mingling with damp earth after a storm ~

There is one soul who truly takes rainy weather to heart.

Watching the skies, reading the clouds, divining the meteorological signs, any and all manner to keep track of the days till the weather turns ...

Many agree it is within the Rain Minder's bones to be so drawn to and in-tune with this one particular forecast.

Where some shy away from and shut out the wet weather, the Rain Minder willfully throws themselves directly into the storm ~ the darkened atmosphere, the commencing of showers, the potential for the added excitement of thunder & lightning.

If you look closely enough, you just may see the otherwise elusive grin pulling at the corner of their mouth, the dancing twinkle in their eye with their head raised ever-so-slightly skyward ~ all, a sure sign of the first drop.

Our cozy tribute to the Rain Minder lies within hand-crocheted strands of a soft, ribbon-like yarn, displaying both a velveteen texture and satin sheen, in the hue of a pale, rain cloud gray.

The scarf measures 2.5" wide x 96" long. The rustic fringe measures approx. 10.5" long.

This Storyteller design should be hand washed, excess water gently expressed and laid flat to dry.
