Finer Thorns is the Buck Gooter's 18th album in 14 years, and second for independent Philadelphia label Ramp Local. The band has managed to gain the recognition of underground luminaries like Henry Rollins, and have toured in both the United States and Europe with A Place To Bury Strangers, Guerilla Toss, and ONO - their live shows are possibly even more energetic than their breakneck recordings. Finer Thorns is their most refined record, but by no means should "refined" be confused with "gentle." In some ways, Finer Thorns is a protest album, musing on the environment, violence, resource allocation, and colonialism - spoiler alert: they're not into colonialism. Spend a few minutes talking to Buck Gooter, and you're liable to be shocked and inspired. In the band's 14 years, Buck Gooter's been a subcultural force, but following their first LP on Ramp Local, 100 Bells, Buck Gooter's finally started to crest their head out of their underground hole.1. Mineral sunscreens have yet to master blending in and this is no different. If you're thinking of hitting the beach with your sexy bum protected it'd better be a ghost beach because you'll look like you've been dipped in white paint. Oh, and it doesn't wash off, so be prepared to look like Casper for days to come.
It rolls on fine if you shake it well first and it does protect.

Great after sun
This is one of the best aftersun lotions I've found. (And I grew up in FL so I've tried many!) I first discovered this lotion while on vacation on Sanibel Island - when I needed something to soothe my sun-kissed shoulders. It is super moisturizing, yet soaks in quickly. Isn't at all greasy, and leaves my skin feeling so nourished. I have even used it after getting burnt and have noticed considerably less peeling when I've used this immediately and consistently. IMO, the smell is a little strong - but it's a nice topical coconut smell - so not at all offensive. (I don't use a lot of scented stuff and therefore tend to be a little
sensitive to smells - so keep that in consideration)

It really works!
Just buy it!!! Well worth the money, since it does exactly what it says it does. The smell is heavenly and nothing else keeps my skin this soft. Beach days are about over and my tan is still glowing, from regular use. Highly recommend.
