Clean to high gain and everything in between

Though named for its searing Gain channel, the Gain Baby offers a sweeter side with a clean channel to provide softer tones. Equipped with bass and treble adjustment, this channel sports a VCA compressor for smooth dynamic control without tonal sacrifice. However, flip over to the Gain side, and the amp lives up to its name with four stages of gain ranging from crunchy low-gain grit to face-melting high-gain distortion. The features continue with a footswitchable volume knob to help those solos cut through and a Tight switch that boosts the top end helping maintain articulation as you crank up the saturation.

Craft your sound

The Gain Baby is all about versatility, with a host of connections to help shape your sound beyond the onboard features. When you need a cabinet, the dual speaker outputs allow connection to virtually any configuration with 100-watt power to drive them loud. If you prefer a digital approach, the balanced line has no embedded cab sim. That means you get a clean signal for your outboard cab sims or digital library of IRs. Finally, the Gain Baby includes a buffered FX loop that allows you to connect any number of pedals without fear of signal degradation.
