About the artwork
Recently I saw a reproduction of Cloud 3, painted in 1988, in an auction catalogue and decided to make a screen print version. In my cloud series the focus on solitary clouds, free of the landscape tradition, is what makes them unique, however, the series also includes drawings, watercolours, oils and sculptures. A multiple set of Cloud 9 now appear to float above the water of the Pukekura Park lily pond, in New Plymouth.
