Don't just house your 500 Series modules, bring out the best in them with the Heritage Audio OST-6 V2.0, a 6-slot, professional, rackmountable 500 Series powered enclosure for mobile and project-studio recording. It utilizes the company's On Slot technology to power and provide maximum protection, filtering, and isolation to each slot independently, ensuring that every module installed performs at its peak potential and that no power-hungry or faulty module compromises the performance of another. In addition to reducing interference, many 500 Series modules exhibit lower self-noise and better performance when racked in this enclosure, especially mic preamps.

The OST-6 V2.0 is equipped with a new link feature that allows the audio output of each channel to be linked over to the audio input of the next channel at the push of a button (on the back panel), with no patch cables required. Handmade at the company's headquarters in Madrid, Spain, the unit features a rugged, heavy-gauge steel and aluminum body for tour-worthy durability, and sports a built-in handle for easy transport. The OST-6 V2.0 can be mounted in a 3 RU standard 19" equipment rack via the included rack ears. It ships with the required external power supply.

  • The OST-6 V2.0 supplies up to 400mA per rail per slot, or 1.8A total ( 2.0A noncontinuous), whichever is reached first.
  • The phantom power supply delivers up to 140mA total.
  • Utilizes gold-plated XLR jacks and edge connectors.

Widest Compatibility with All 500 Series Modules

  • The OST-6 V2.0 is designed for powering any 500 Series module or device, ensuring both demanding double-wide modules or power-hungry class-A or vacuum-tube modules receive the power they need, and adjacent modules remain unaffected.

What's On Slot Technology?

  • The OST-6 V2.0 enclosure has individual power supplies and separate regulation, filtering, and protection for each channel slot, minimizing the interaction of separate modules. It ensures that not only do the most demanding 500 Series modules get the power they require to achieve higher performance in terms of self noise and crosstalk, but also that modules do not affect adjacent modules negatively.

Great Filter, Good Quality!

The beauty of this filter is that it comes with very clear instructions on what to do. Not a lot of manufacturers. Give clear instructions. I got this for a 2007 MDX. The packaging of the product itself was well done by Bosch. Installation was a breeze and as soon as I turned on the air conditioning post installation, I could tell the very clear difference. Plus, I also got an opportunity to look at the old filter which was filled with the usual culprits and debris. The initial airflow did have a mild smell of kerosene or like fuel. But this could also be because of the filter component itself needing to be vented out. I would recommend keeping the filter out for about 30 to 60 minutes before installation. Once installed, however, the improvement in air quality was very evident. The fit was very good as well. Highly recommend this. Very high quality.
