Sesame Oil

Tiny seeds, with a powerful punch, sesame seeds have been used for over 3,500 years in the Mediterranean & India for their powerful healing effects. The sacred text of Ayurveda, Caraka Samhita, calls sesame oil the best of all oils. Ayurveda most certainly has a love affair with this oil & after using it, it is easy to see why! Sesame oil is traditionally used in Ayurvedic body oil formulations due to its warming, grounding & calming effects on the nervous system. It is highly nourishing & moisturizing, bringing deep hydrating relief to dry skin. Sesame oil also has powerful anti-microbial properties which help eliminate any funk from the body, while keeping your ojas, or immune system, strong. 

Brahmi

Brahmi is an Indian herb commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine for its brain tonic & adaptogenic properties which support a healthy functioning mind, elevated mood & reduced stress in the body. Not only is brahmi supportive to the mind, but is also beneficial for the skin! Rich in vitamin C & antioxidant properties, brahmi helps to dispel toxins from the body, especially from the epithelium layer; thus, improving skin complexion, treating skin problems, healing wounds & reducing the effects of scarring.
