Growing Instructions

Soak the Pellets in water and mix the coarse silica sand into the soil. The soil should be lightly moist, but not wet. Fill each pot to the top with your moist cactus mix. Sprinkle 1 to 3 seeds in the middle of the cups. Do not cover it with dirt. Instead, cover it very lightly with a thin coating of the coarse sand.
Place each cup in the watering tray, and pour about 1-inch of water into the tray. It is best to bottom water the seedlings, as top watering can displace the seeds. When the cups appear moist on top, but not soaking wet, move them from the tray to a mini greenhouse.
You can make a mini greenhouse out of a clean plastic food container with a lid, or you can buy a mini greenhouse from a garden supply store.
Place the greenhouse in a warm place, out of direct sunlight. Cacti need more moisture and humidity that you would expect in order to germinate. If you see too much condensation on the lid of your greenhouse, you need more air flow. Prop the lid open a little. This will prevent mold and help your fragile seedling.
Be patient! Some seeds can take 6 months to a year to germinate! Just keep the soil evenly moist, watering whenever the top of the soil dries. This is about weekly
here. Eventually, you will see a tiny little cacti pop out of the soil. Keep this out of direct sunlight, as it can cause the cactus to burn. Mature cacti can tolerate direct sunlight, but the babies cannot.
Keep in mind that cacti are very slow growing plants. The small cacti you buy in the stores are usually about 5 years old!

Stopped working after 3 months
It stopped working after 3 months. The motor still runs the gear still turns. But it does not engage the can to cut. I bought it for a post operative situation and I am glad that it worked when for the length of time it did but it's disappointing that I now have to throw this item away.

Meh.
Worked great the first couple of times it was used. But then it stopped cutting into the cans and does not open them. It causes the metal to fray off in small pieces which resulted in getting a piece of metal stuck in my finger for weeks so I don't recommend. It's also very loud.

Great opener
Color: Blue
Had a battery operated can opener before and was always changing the batteries. Love the safety cut and this works great now that I can just charge it with my phone charger. Fits in my drawer so no counter space used

Leaves an EXTREMELY SHARP edge - cuts off entire lid from sides of can!
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
This can opener cut off the whole top of the tuna cans and left an insanely sharp, wobbly, very thin edge of the top of the can that nearly cut me because there was no heavy metal lip left behind to hold the structure of the top of the can! This is a very bad feature that is going to really hurt someone! I do NOT recommend this for anyone! Needs a product recall!
