The sheets you are about to experience are made from 100% extra-long staple 80S Egyptian cotton. Extra-long staple cotton refers to cotton that has extra-long fibers. Fabric made from extra-long staple cotton is more durable and frays less. It also does not pill, and is more wrinkle resistant when compared to other types of cotton fabrics.

80S refers to the thickness of the yarn used. The larger the number, the finer the yarn. The finer the yarn, the softer the fabric. However, this is not to say that the finest yarns are the best. Yarn that is too fine results in a fabric that has poor breathability. After a lot of research and trials, we have found that 80S cotton (which is more commonly used in shirting fabrics), yields a fabric that is the best balance between softness, breathability, and most importantly, durability.

Because we use top grade cotton, we have been able to create a fabric that is thicker and more durable than the industry standard, while still achieving the lustre of a sateen weave and without compromising on silkiness and breathability. The result is a robust and luxurious sheet that will withstand the rigours of daily use.
